Taconic Distillery's Barrel Strength Double Barrel Maple Bourbon has an initial sweetness that lingers with the earthiness of the barrels, resulting in a slightly sweet butteriness. At a 57.5% ABV, it still provides the sweetness on the nose and warm peppery notes of maple syrup. The higher proof provides a heightened dose of caramel and vanilla on the back palate.
